June 2023

Surgery Week

This month we were able to participate in the surgery week with Health Talents while the surgeons performed general surgery,   ENT,  and gyn surgeries.    It was a wonderful week with healing, prayer, and praise.

Wheelchair Ministry

This month we were also privileged to work with Faith-in-Practice and their wheelchair ministry.  We were so blessed to see over 100 patients carried in to the clinic and coming out in a brand new wheelchair.   The smile on their faces and the joy the caregivers displayed was precious and memorable.

Cary helped build over 100 wheelchairs this week.

Home Build

This month we were privileged to build a home for Byron and Juliana Xoc.   They have two children, Estefani (6) and William (3) and owned a small piece of property but no means to build a home.  They have been living with relatives and it was becoming very tense in the small house in which they only had one small room the size of a closet for their family of four.   With donations a home was built for them on their own land and they moved in the very day we finished.  They were so grateful.

Juliana was in tears when we told her she was getting a home for her family

We get the family involved at every moment we can.

Juliana and her sisters fed us on the second day.  This is a dish of Pepian Chicken.  It takes many hours to make the sauce and is the favorite dish of Santa Maria when family gathers for a festival.

Children's Feeding Center

It was so good to be able to volunteer at the feeding center.   We always love seeing the children, serving them, and watching them grow.

Rita and Myra,  we have known Myra since she was 12 years old.

Father's Day at the feeding center

This month we celebrated Father's Day at the feeding center.   A devotion was presented and the message was delivered on how to be a good father and to be more like our Heavenly Father.  All the fathers raised their 16oz claw hammer they received as a gift.

Our view given to us by our Heavenly Creator!

It was awesome this month to get the opportunity to share His love in physical and spiritual ways.

Thank you for your prayers, love, and support,  they are all precious to us.  We are humbled and blessed by you love.
