September was our time of returning to the State for a few weeks, getting to see family and friends and give updates on what we have seen God do here in Guatemala. It was a good time, albiet a little warmer than we are now used to, but we were blessed by so many and return to Guatemala with our hearts full and renewed and refreshed to serve Him.
We did feed the children once we returned and loved getting back to the love and joy of the smiling faces here at the feeding center.

| Jose is praying with the children before their meal. He has become an integral part of the feeding center leading the meal prayer most of the days. He is doing very well since we were able to fit him with a prosthetic leg and he has been receiving therapy and walking with out a cane most of the day. |

| Henry has been coming to the feeding center now for 10 years. He has now joined us as a helper during the week and is doing a great job. |

Just a note, for all who sponsor a child in Santa Maria to go to school, the school year is over in October. \
The new year starts the middle of January and we will be sending updates regarding your child in January and their upcoming school year. The sponsorship donation is not needed until all children are confirmed the first week of February. Thank you so much for the opportunity you are giving these children to have an education and future. We have visited with many of the children and their parents and they all want a better opportunity for their children, they do not want them to have to work daily in the fields or sell at the market.
This is a short video segment of the children participating in the worship service after they have eaten. It is such a joy to be able to serve and worship with these children of all ages and we pray we have no higher or greater place than at the feet of Jesus.
Thank you to all who support and pray for us here in Guatemala. Please pray that our words and deeds will fulfill Isaiah 58:10:
"If you open your heart to the hungry, and provide abundantly for those that are afflicted, your light will shine in the darkness, and your gloom will be like the noonday sun".
